Other form of degree is fashion merchandising. It is more into marketing of designs in fashion. They will travel around the world to watch the fashion shows and buy the needed products for a good rate.
Both of these degrees will give the basic knowledge about fashion industry. If you are going to manage your own fashion retail shop, these degrees can tell you all the important factors you have to look into in order to make the business good. It is always better to know the trade before entering into management of it. this can prevent chaos in any field.
